Eligibility For NEST

To be eligible for NEST, all candidates should have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Math and English as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer science/ Biotech should be there as one of the optional subjects. A minimum 50% aggregate marks is mandatory for admission.  For applicants in the biotechnology area Physics, Chemistry and English as compulsory subjects and Biology or Mathematics as one of the optional subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks is essential.

NEST Exam Pattern

The NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a totally computer-based online test. The duration of the test is three hours. You will get objective type questions, with multiple choices for the correct answer. The syllabus of Lovely Professional University NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test) includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology studied by the candidate at 10+2 level.
